Registration Information

Eligible Players: 

FDSA Recreational Soccer is a level 3 program, open to boys and girls ages 4 through 15 in Fort Dodge and surrounding communities. No previous soccer skills are needed to participate.

Players that play in a level 2, or a level 1 league (FD Chaos and ISL State Leagues,) are not eligible for the FDSA Recreational program.

Each age group will have a max participant number.  Once that maximum is reached, your player will be placed on a wait list.  Wait list participants can be accepted once a full team with a volunteer coach is set.

U10 Division:

For the past few seasons we haven't had the numbers to support separate boys and girls divisions at the U10 level. With registrations increasing, we anticipate that we will have separate boys and girls U10 divisions this season. If we do not have enough players and volunteer coaches, we will have a coed division, to ensure everyone can play.

Volunteer Coaches Needed:
Previous experience not required!

FDSA relies on parents and community members to coach our teams. Please consider coaching a team this season!

Volunteer Coaches can receive 1 free player registration for the Spring 2025 season.  To be eligible, all Iowa Soccer training requirements must be completed prior to coaching season.  Reimbursement will occur at end of the season.  Sign up as a volunteer coach during your child's registration process.

Game Jerseys

FDSA uses a two-jersey system. Each player will have one navy and one gray jersey. Each jersey costs $8 plus tax. 
New players: stop in to Decker Sports to pre-order your jersey. 
Returning players: Make sure your jersey from last season still fits.

If you are new to our program, please create an account with Demosphere to register.

Returning players will use the same Demosphere login information from the previous season. If you are unsure, please click on "Forgot Password" to reset your account.

Please ensure all information on your account is correct.

Fall 2024 Timeline

Early Registration:
January 1st-February 28th

During this window a player registers for FDSA recreational soccer for Spring 2025.
Regular registration closes at 11:55pm on February 28th. 

Late Registration:
March 1st-March 10th
($15 Late Fee Applied)

Late registrations will be accepted beginning midnight March 1st until 11:55pm March 10th with a $15 additional fee.  The system will not accept any additional registrations after 11:55pm on March 10th.

Club Work Dates:
March 11th-March 18th

Between March 11th and March 18th, FDSA will create teams and organize communications. During these dates FDSA is not allowed to imply or notify any coaches or players of specific team placement.

Team Placement/Coaches Meeting:
After March 18th (TBD)

Beginning March 18th, coaches with a full roster can be notified of team placement.  Communications from coaches to the players can occur. 

Coaches meeting is TBD.

Practices begin:
Anytime after the Coaches Meeting

Game Dates:
Saturdays, April 5th-May 17th

No Games April 19th (Easter weekend)
