Game Day / Coaching Procedures


Coaches must possess at all times:
All player passes - No Pass, No Play
Club issued Roster

Pre-Game Responsibilities

Arrive at least 30 minutes prior to game time
Check condition of field/goals make sure it’s safe to play on
Players to arrive at least 20 minutes prior to game time
Verify all players are properly equipped; Shirt, Shorts, Shin guards, socks, shoes
Socks worn on top of shin guards and covering shin guards completely
If wearing jacket or sweatshirt, worn under jersey and hood must be tucked under the shirt 
NO JEWELRY - Referee has the final say in regards to proper and safe equipment
Introduce yourself to the opposing coach
Review the rules with opposing coach and both assigned and volunteer officials
Length of game can only be changed with consent of both coaches

  • U8 – (4) 12 minute quarters with two minute breaks and five minute HT
  • U10 – (2) 25 minute halves with a five minute HT
  • U12 – (2) 30 minute halves with a five minute HT
  • U15 – (2) 40 minute halves with a five minute HT


Game Time Responsibilities
Team Check-In
Players line up
Match Official will check in team - NO PASS NO PLAY!!!
Coin Flip
Each team captain should provide a game ball (game ball decided by center official)
Visiting team to call heads or tails before the flip
The winning team decides which side they would like to defend, other team gets ball
Coach to ensure all players receive 50% playing time!
Sit down, relax, and let the kids play

Post Game Responsibilities
ALL players and coaches line up and shake hands with opposing team and officials win or lose
DO NOT vocally announce any discrepancies in front of players or parents
Compliment your team and individual players, review schedule for next practice
Clean your team bench area before leaving
