FD Chaos is excited to announce our tryout dates for the 2024-2025 seasons. (Eligible birth years: 2009-2014)

Must attend at least one session, but encouraged to attend all sessions

Session 1:  June 11, 2024  6:00-7:30pm   Check in begins at 5:30pm

Session 2:  June 17, 2024   6:00-7:30pm  Check in begins at 5:30pm

Rain date:  June 18, 2023   6:00-7:30pm   Check in begins at 5:30pm

You can login to register for tryouts.  If you are a returning player for Chaos or Rec, please use your Demosphere login information.  If you do not have an account, simply click on "Create an account".  A player headshot is required at time of registration.

A $15 system administrative fee is applied to each participant registering for tryouts.  This is a one time fee and is non-refundable.

PRACTICES 

This league consists of 2-3 evening practices per week. Beginning mid August. Practices will be communicated by the individual teams coach. Commitment to practices and games is a high priority for each team.  

 

GAMES 

**Weekend Play Dates Subject to Change. Schedule will be finalized by Iowa Soccer** 

Games begin early September through late October (typically 6-7 weeks).  

U14 plays on Saturdays. U12 and U15/U16 play on Sundays. 

 

September 7-8: Weekend #1

Final game schedules will release about 1 week prior to first games.  Please prepare September 7th and 8th as the first weekend of games based on your age group stated above.  

Expect to travel 60-90 minutes for games.   Effort is made to allow a mixture of home and away games.  All home games will be played at Harlan Rogers Soccer fields.

 

FEES 

Tryout Fee - $15  (non-refundable)

League Fees - $80 

Uniform Fees – $90 – Includes 2 jerseys, 2 shorts, 1 pair of socks   (non-refundable)

This charge does not include shoes, shin guards, or specialized goalie equipment, which will have to be purchased by the individual players. 

Tournaments may be organized by each age groups coaches - cost for tournaments may be additional. 
 

BID WEEK 

Parents will be contacted of acceptance by end of June via the email used when registering for tryouts.  You must accept/decline from this email within 3 days of receipt.

If accepting, you will be taken to the registration page to register for the team.  All fees must be paid prior to rostering your player.

If your child has not been offered a position on Chaos, or they do not wish to participate, you may choose to register for fall recreational soccer.  In your email, the recreational registration link will be included. 

Uniforms must be purchased no later than July 5^th.  An additional email will be sent to participants with instructions on how to order uniforms.

 

While we understand and admire all players’ desire to be on the “best team” we also understand the difference between that and “the best team for your player right now”.  Coaches will continue to monitor players over the fall, winter and spring to ensure that all players are playing on the best team for each player right now.
